My wife and I have lived in numerous places around the globe, but one thing is a constant... Taking care of homeless animals. All of our home animals, 3 cats and one bird, have been rescued off of the street, spayed and neutered at our own expense. In addition, everywhere we go, We identify the homeless animals in our neighborhood and set up feeding and watering stations. Our Pets. Chelsea: Male cat, rescued off the streets of Burma by my wife, as a kitten. Was scalded by a cook who didnt want it hanging around the kitchen. My Wife tokk it in 20 years ago. Gaosu: Taken in as a kitten after being thrown out of a moving car in Beijing. My Wife and I nursed him back to health, and is now a very vibrant Tabby. Dust: A kitten that I was feeding from the outside Kitty animals we were feeding in Shanghai. We lived then on the 18th floor. Dust got through the security door 5 times. Climbed all of the 18 floors, and kept scraping and meowing at our door. after the fifth time, I told my wife that any animal with that much balls to climb all that way needs to be part of our family. Ms Bird: ; It was winter 5 years ago. I went out to go grocery shopping when I stopped to call my wife if she need anything else from the store. In the middle of the conversation, Ms Bird landed on my foot. Since I have had birds before, I knew that she had escaped from a bamboo cage, and wanted to get warm. so I hung up the phone, put her in my bike bag, and brought her home. She has been with us ever since.
