I came back to work in Shanghai as a professor in late 2016 with most of the time working at home. My workplace is quite close to my neighborhood. Before moving back to China, I lived in Texas and Tokyo for a long time. When I was in Houston, I was a volunteer of an animal rescue center called friends for life (http://www.friends4life.org) for many years. Almost every weekend I went to the shelter helping taking care of dogs, cats, and other pets. Also, my family used to have a German Shepherd, with whom I grew up together.Therefore, I and my parents have extensive experience dealing with animals especially dogs.
