I have grown up with dogs (irish wolfhounds), and I have always had dogs of my own (spaniels). I live with my husband, daughter and a basset hound called Ted. He is great fun and loves playing with other dogs. We have lots of space in our house, and part of our garden is enclosed (basset hound proof). We have 3 or 4 walks a day, rain or shine, and I vary the routes around the local park and other compounds. We also have cosy dog beds in our snug next to the the kitchen. Ted has the run of the house, and he has his own sofa by the front door for sleeping. We have a basket of dog toys. We have a kitchen filter tap for drinking water. I like looking after other dogs, learning about each dog’s personality and understanding different breeds. We live near 2 international schools - Nord Anglia BISS and Shanghai American School.
